Sandune allows our guests to live out their very own Safari dream in a luxury lodge. In the heart of Namibia’s cattle farming area, Sandune offers 12 spacious rooms and 4 cottages with daily cleaning services and various outdoor activities, such as hiking, game drives, horseback riding and visits to the bushman’s camp. This diverse and probably most famous group of people, the San (also called Bushmen) are generally assumed to have been the earliest inhabitants of today’s Namibia. Spend time with them, whilst gaining insight on how they make their crafts and go about their daily duties. Listen to their stories and join in some of their traditional dances
The Wild Side The classic African Safari is based around the game drive and without doubt the highlight of any safari.
Our expert guides will take you on a spectacular sunrise or sunset game drive, in exploration of the most magnificent animals in Africa. Learn about the biodiversity of the landscape and all the creatures that inhabit the region, and enjoy many photo opportunities along the way.
Halfway through our game drives, there’s a stop for drinks and snacks, before returning to the lodge where it’s likely you will see wildlife around the lodge.
Discover the Bushveld There is no better way to take in the bushveld and experience its unparalleled wildlife than on horseback.
The pace of riding is varied, between fast and thrilling gallops in water and on land, to where we quietly stalk bigger game and take time for some quiet bird watching.
